Job Title: Freelance Project Manager – Warehouse/industrial/distribution

Location: Southampton

Duration: March – December

Description: We are seeking an experienced Freelance Number 1 Project Manager with a strong background in warehouse and fit out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a specific project in Southampton.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the project timeline, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project budget and expenses to ensure cost–effectiveness.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Availability for an immediate start and commitment to the contract.
