Responsibilities for Customer Service Sales

• Quote preparation and despatch.
• Process / Procedural reviews.
• Maintain filing systems.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge of all services and products supplied by Co-Ordination Event Hire.
• Preparing and maintaining paperwork for enquiries and new hires.
• Updating workflow using in house company CRM system.
• Telephone and email communication with customers, identifying needs to recommend appropriate products.
• To be a point of contact for customers and team enquiries.
• Attend weekly department meetings and contribute accordingly.
• Develop a rapport with customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner to put them at ease.
• Meet with customers for onsite face-to-face consultations and warehouse tours.
• To complete all necessary training provided by the company.
• To have a flexible approach to meet the changing demands of the company.
• To handle all information with confidentiality and sensitivity, any breach will be handled through appropriate methods.
• To support all quality standards and processes, always ensuring compliance and adhere to company’s policies and procedures – make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
• Report any discrepancies immediately to line manager or senior management, with recommendation(s) for solution(s)
• Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with members of the team.

Sales Assistant Requirements:

• Good communicator with a commitment to excellent customer service. Organised, methodical with excellent attention to detail.
• Logical thinker who can solve problems.
• Ability to multitask. Self-motivated, resilient, and tenacious with a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to build ongoing rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Change orientated, responsive, open minded and innovative.
• Strong team player, conscientious, trustworthy, and reliable.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.
• Must be comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervision.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment.
• Attending seasonal Wedding Fairs/Trade shows outside normal working hours.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3.00pm
