Job description

Our client is an award-winning UK developer with a 20 year-track record of delivery. As a leading UK developer and operator, they have delivered over 15 energy-efficient, renovation projects and new builds in Manchester, providing the city centre with over 900 luxury apartments. Throughout the last two years, they have also paid out over £7 million in returns to investors and developed a long-lasting relationship with clients.

With an established reputation for quality, the organisation is entering a new phase of growth with the support of institutional investors. This period will see the organisation accelerate developments and structure itself to reflect the increasing scale of operations.

The Role

There now exists an opportunity for an individual to lead the property management function.

The Head of Property Management will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic growth plans and overseeing the day-to-day Facilities and Block Management operations of the property portfolio. The role will be responsible for ensuring a safe and effective service including managing regulatory compliance and balancing the needs for Investors and Tenants across the Property Portfolio.

As a member of the Leadership team, the Head of Property Management will be expected to take Cabinet responsibility alongside the other Leadership team members for the effective running and growth of the Business.

The Head of Property Management will bring extensive experience of regulatory compliance within the Facilities Management and Block Management area

Skills / Abilities /Experience

Strategic thinking and planning Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Exceptional leadership and team management abilities Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Essential

10 years of proven experience in corporate leadership roles with experience as part of a leadership team Experience of working in reputable, preferably ARMA or RICS regulated organisations. Strong understanding of the property development market and current market trends. Proven track record of successful team management and development.

Desirable

Bachelor’s degree in [relevant field]; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Relevant qualifications (e.g. IRPM/property management related qualifications). Demonstrated ability to lead and execute strategic initiatives.
