Early Years Educator (EYE) L3 or Early Years Educator (EYE) L3 Apprentice Start date 15th April 2024 Working pattern: Full time - term time onlyClosing date: Monday 11th March at 9am.We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our hardworking and dedicated team of Early Years teachers and support staff. You will either already hold a Level 3 + DfE recognised Early Years qualification or be willing to work towards this through the apprenticeship route. Early Years Educator (EYE) L3 Surrey Support Staff Band: S3 Salary: (pro rata) £21,269 - £21,776 with pay award pendingContract: Permanentor Early Years Educator (EYE) L3 Apprentice Surrey Support Staff Band S1-2 Salary: (pro rata) £20,773 with pay award pendingContract: Fixed Term for length of apprenticeship Whether you are interested in joining us as an existing L3 practitioner, or as an apprentice, we are looking for someone who: Has a sense of humour, patience, and genuine love for children. Can be flexible and support learning in a creative way. Can immerse themselves in the children’s play. Is enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, and dependable. Is a good team player and able to use their initiative. Has GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C (4) or above (or for apprentices, be able to achieve Level 2 English and Maths during the programme).Has been a resident in the UK for the last three years.

Information for Apprenticeship Candidates The EarlyYears Educator (L3) Apprenticeship is an ideal path for a caring and enthusiastic individual looking to begin a career in Early Years Education. An Early Years Educator (EYE) is responsible for planning and providing effective care for children aged 0-5 in various early years settings and count towards the staff:child ratio. They implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) that enables children to prepare for Key Stage One and Two. The Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprentice position offers the opportunity to work and study at the same time to achieve a recognised Early Years qualification. The Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprentice Role The EYE Level 3 apprenticeship is a work-based programme which is completed over 16-18 months. Apprenticeships are suitable for all ages, from school leavers to adults wishing to retrain or return to the workplace. During the apprenticeship you will be working in our Early Years classes (Nursery & Reception) to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting while studying for your qualification through off-the-Job training. You will have an average of 6 hours per week (2 afternoons) release time from class to complete assignments and other course requirements. On successful completion, you will be awarded the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship, the NCFE Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (EYE), and the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid OR Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid. There is no cost to the individual apprentice for the qualification - the cost of training is met in full through the apprenticeship levy. The contract is a fixed term contract for the length of the course with the possibility of a permanent contract on your successful completion of the apprenticeship.
