What you'll be doing

We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within our Hygiene Team as Hygiene Operator, Semi-skilled Operator and Skilled Operator roles. The role you will be assigned will be determined during the interview process. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off 5:30am-17:30pm. Pay rate £10.80 - £12.72 depending on skill level.

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our technical team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling, and lifting involved.

Working as a Hygiene Operative you will be required to:

• Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.
• Cleaning and sanitising of equipment as per the hygiene schedule
• Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
• Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Coordinator / Hygiene Team Leader
• Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department
• Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan
• Required to wear the appropriate PPE which includes overall, wellies, hair net and gloves.

What we're looking for

• Good level of English and Math's
• Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
• Good communication skills
• Can-do attitude and willingness to help team in times on demand
• Basic understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (although training will be given)
