Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our clients team as a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications.
Working hours - 7:30am - 4:30pm
Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Preform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding
- Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication or welding issues
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Experience:
- To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Proven experience in fabricating and welding metal components MIG & TIG
- Ability to read Engineering drawings
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding
- Familiarity with working with sheet metal
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools
