Where You'll Work & The Scope:

Vishay is currently seeking a Field Application Engineer for the Business Development (Automotive) Department responsible for providing application and technical support to automotive customers and the sales team. The Field Application Engineer will dentify new business opportunities based on customer requirements/needs and work with the appropriate divisions to define new products. This person will coordinate with the worldwide automotive FAE team to support global customers and share application information.

How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech:

• Technical support for an existing customer base in UK and BE_NL_LUX
• Technical understanding of the customer application and development of conceptual solution proposals (based on the VISHAY product portfolio for automotive applications)
• Competent consulting for technical questions regarding VISHAY components
• Internal interface between sales and divisions
• Development of proposals for suitable components based on the application knowledge and support of customer projects until qualification of the components
• Conducting technical trainings, sales and customer seminars as well as preparing the technical documentation required for them
• Contributing our application knowledge to the development of new products and technical solutions

Experience You'll Need:

• 3+ years experience in the electronic segment, either as an engineer or FAE
• A degree in technical studies, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering/electronics
• Experience with electronic components (function/design/application)
• Communication and presentation skills
• Independent working style
• MS-Office skills
• Excellent proficiency in English, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel in UK and BE_NL_LUX
