Please note this is a maternity cover position If your experience combines creativity, commercial awareness and delivering exceptional Print design in a retail environment, then this opportunity is going to be something you might be interested in… We are looking for someone with a great creative eye along with the ability to passionately translate this from hand painting to selection. About the role: Research the latest print trends relevant to various customer profiles, then communicate this information to your teams and senior managers. Design creative print designs across multiple product categories including mens casual and formal shirts Brief suppliers on key print trends and send out print specs Work closely with the Product Designers & Buyers to support the whole design process, from planning new ranges through to product selection About you: Previous experience working within a UK brand, high street retailer or supplier Excellent knowledge of print design including repeats and the printing process & print aesthetics Great attention to detail and an adaptable and versatile handwriting, with the ability to design across a variety of brands and age ranges Strong commercial awareness and a comprehensive understanding of print design and trends Proven ability to create commercial collections An adaptable handwriting/resilience to change. You’ll thrive on working in a fast paced environment with a real passion and drive for product A high level of experience and be proficient in creating designs and tech packs using Adobe creative suite-from initial trend concepts to final tech packs Excellent communication and presentation skills Enthusiastic attitude and team player
