TheVolunteer Tutors Organisation (established 1977) provides educational support to children and young people whoneed it most, regardless of their background or ability to pay. Our tutoring support is tailored to each pupil’sindividual learning needs. We work collaboratively with schools and other partners to maximise the opportunityfor success. Our overarching aim is to help reduce the poverty-related attainment gap in Scotland. Although mostof our tutoring is in Glasgow, we also have thriving projects in Edinburgh and Perth & Kinross.
An opportunity has arisen for the position of Managing Director to provide operational and strategic leadership tothe VTO team, building on the significant successes during the past 5 years and identifying opportunities forsustainability and growth. We are looking for an individual preferably with both private and 3rd sectorexperience who has a track record of success in building partnerships and fundraising.

With responsibility for the strategic development and delivery of Donaldsons’ wellbeing and adult services, embeddingboth best practice and the highest standards of safeguarding, you will play a crucial role in supportingneurodivergent young people and adults by ensuring Donaldsons continues to provide relevant person-centredservices that meet both current and future needs. As an active member of the Executive Leadership Team, theDirector of Services will work collaboratively and directly contribute to the development of strategies andoperational plans that ensure the achievement of our key priorities.
An inspiring, solutions-focused and forward-thinking leader, you will bring relevant experience in developing,delivering and growing registered services that support people in a person-centred and outcome-focused way.Bringing knowledge of the local authority funding environment and national policy landscape that drives servicedevelopment and funding, the successful candidate will also bring a strong desire to embrace innovation andencourage both internal and external stakeholders alike to think differently in relation to how neurodivergentyoung people and adults are supported more effectively.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Trustees you would be joining Donaldsons at acritical time for the development of further opportunities for neurodivergent people in Scotland.
NB: Donaldsons operates a Hybrid Working Policy and whilst this post is based in Linlithgow, the successful candidatewould not necessarily need to be in the office on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Adult Services Lead who is passionate about quality,person-centred approach and truly making a difference.
You will lead the operational management and further development of our Adult Services, ensuring best practice andhighest standards of safeguarding and regulatory compliance. Our Adult Services, registered with the CareInspectorate, currently include Gate and Treehouse in Linlithgow, West Lothian.
Taking on the role of Registered Manager, you will lead teams of Wellbeing Practitioners to ensure trainees aresupported to achieve their ambitions using a wellbeing framework and a programme of learning and skillsdevelopment activities designed to meet individual needs.
You will have experience of managing registered services, monitoring and evaluating outcomes and impact, and strongapproach to performance management and quality improvement. Sound knowledge of adult protection and bestpractice in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those with intellectual disabilities are essential. Withstrong communication, collaborative and influencing skills, you will have a track record of leading, managingand developing effective teams.
As a member of a multidisciplinary leadership team, you will also contribute to the strategic development of servicesand organisational growth to increase our support of neurodivergent people.
