Job description
Join an award-winning refurbishment and new build specialist working on projects ranging in value from £500k to £4 million. This family-run business has a wide variety of clients based around the Bath area and directly employ over 90 staff.
They are recruiting one Site Manager to work from the main Bath office.
THE ROLE:
- Overall responsibility for site activities, including labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Liaising with clients and their representatives.
- Assist in the procurement programme.
- Control individual contract budgets.
- Monitor site progress.
- Maintaining quality control procedures.
- Conducting health and safety inspections.
- Regular reporting to the senior management team.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or sector.
- Hold a current SMSTS or associated NVQ.
- Ideally have experience refurbishing listed buildings.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts.
- Commercial awareness.
- Clear focus on quality control, cost control, productivity and delivery of projects.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexible in hours and travel.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary of £38,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience.
- Company van or van allowance.
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Bonus incentive.
