Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Contract type: Permanent

 

About the role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced technical Manager to join our team at our Customer site in central Cardiff. Please note this role is site based 5 days a week.

As an IT Manager, within our Cloud, Cyber and IT Business Unit, the IT Manager will be based at Cardiff and Vale College and will manage the on-site IT support team and IT function to ensure that the service delivered to the customer is in line with contractual commitments.

A strategic thinker, the IT Manager will also act as a technical escalation point for the on-site team. This is a hands-on managerial and technical role and will require you to build strong relationships with customer contacts and senior IT stakeholders.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, with shifts between 0800 and 1900.

The successful candidate will also currently hold, or be prepared to go through, an enhanced DBS check.
