Senior Estimator
Based Essex RM3
Salary to £100K + excellent package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a prestigious main contractor, specialising in a variety of projects including residential, commercial, education, and heritage.
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of the company by accurately estimating costs for upcoming projects. You will be responsible for analysing project plans, conducting site visits, and liaising with suppliers to ensure the most competitive prices are obtained. Your expertise in cost estimation will be vital in securing profitable contracts and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
To excel in this role, you must have a proven track record in estimating within the construction industry, ideally with experience in a main contractor environment. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will be required to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
