Role: Gas Maintenance Technician
Location: Rotherham – Oak House
Package: £36,000 DOE, plus on-call allowance, with company van and tools provided
Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Gas Maintenance Technician to work with one of the UK’s most valued service providers in Rotherham. Our client holds one of the largest portfolios in the UK, comprising more than 3000 properties, ranging from listed buildings through to state-of-the-art integrated health campuses.

Day to day, your main responsibility as a Gas Maintenance Technician will be to deliver scheduled, reactive and remedial maintenance services, directed by the PPM planner and Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained. The role will be based primarily from Rotherham Oak House, with some travel to other sites required.
What will your role look like?
The successful candidate will ensure compliance in accordance with all Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies, relevant Technical Guidance, Statutory Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice, and any applicable aspects of HTMs.
They will conduct fault-findings, minor repairs and installations, and maintain services and equipment within critical environments.
What are we looking for?
We would like to speak to you if you are;
-Registered Gas Safe Engineer with ACS qualifications in Domestic and Commercial Gas Installations – essential
And if you have either of the following;
-BTEC City & Guilds, with relevant experience and training
-NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
-Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent
-Commercial experience – essential
-Full UK driving licence and ability to pass DVLA checks – essential
-Ability to pass DBS check – essential
