As Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing our SME Mid Market Business.

About the Role:

Playing a pivotal role in driving financial performance, underwriting excellence, and operational governance for the assigned branch. This includes financial planning, people management, and ensuring the proper implementation of all changes, from regulatory compliance to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Performance: Manage the Profit and Loss for the assigned branch, with a Gross Written Premium (GWP) ranging from £30m to £150m.
• Underwriting Performance & Governance: Uphold high standards of underwriting performance and governance. Be a visible figurehead in the local market, engaging with key brokers alongside the Regional Sales Manager.
• Leadership and Brand Promotion: Lead a large multi-site underwriting team, establishing an external profile in the Regional Broker Market. Consistently promote and embed Aviva's brand values with brokers, customers, and employees.

Skills and Experience:

• Strategic thinking and innovation to enhance customer outcomes.
• Strong leadership and relationship management skills, including stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Commercial thinking supported by strong analytical skills to identify growth and value opportunities.
