About the role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Integrated Designer to join our growing creative department. You’ll hit the ground running answering client briefs and assisting with internal initiatives. Collaborating closely with seasoned creative teams and lead designers, this role offers an opportunity to continually expand your skills, stay curious about the industry, and advance your career by delivering top-quality work and pushing creative boundaries.

About the department

The design department in our London office comprises around 12 designers with a diverse mix of skills, expertise, and backgrounds. Our team collaborates across a wide spectrum of clients, channels, and mediums. We foster a culture of collaboration, mutual challenge, and support among our team members. While providing you with substantial creative freedom, we are committed to championing your continuous learning and professional development.

What you will be doing (about the role)

Working on a range of client projects, alongside our creative teams to produce high quality creative, from concept to final design.  

Working across multiple platforms depending on the brief, including email, social, digital, and print campaigns. Experience is simple animation and after effects experience is essential

Liaising with creative directors and creating multiple visual routes to really bring ideas to life. 

Taking responsibility for each project and owning your work with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. This includes checking against brand guidelines and specifications.  

Based on client briefs, you will research, source assets and create any required graphic when needed. This includes iconography, pictograms, illustrations.

You’ll be confident leading the creative process on your projects as well as working with junior designers and supporting them throughout. 

Getting stuck in with pitch work and having the creative flare to push ideas visually, once, twice, and then another time.  

What you’ll have already done (about your experience)

You have substantial experience working in a similar agency environment at a middleweight level and have a track record to be proud of that can be seen in a portfolio.

You are experienced in campaign work, from social media to print and CRM, and you are aware of best practices in these areas.  

By now you are well versed in the way a set of brand guidelines works and how to make the most of them. 

You have presented confidently to your teammates, you possess strong communication skills. 

You have worked on pitches, and you know how those projects work and what they require.

You have heard about accessibility and inclusive design and you are starting to apply the principles into your designs because that’s the right thing to do

Specific skills we are looking for from you (the bit about software and abilities

Adobe Creative Suite abilities are top tier. Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign. 

Animation is just one of things that is a must nowadays, we’re not asking for Pixar but think motion graphics for social posts and email headers

Experience with content management systems, or the ability to learn is a pro. We use TAXI for email (it’s pretty easy no coding needed) but a basic understanding on how HTML works will help you.

Attention to detail is non-negotiable. The devil is in the details! 

Someone who is meticulous, always organised and stays cool as a cucumber.

Up to date knowledge of the latest design trends. 

Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, structuring a design using grids, etc.

Design hygiene, keeping your files nice and clean for the good of the rest of your team. 

The ever-changing, ever-adapting way of our industry means we’re always looking to bring new and varied skills to the team. Nowadays a flair for animation and/or an interest in 3D is a must. Welcome are also more crafty skills like lettering, paper art, photography, etc. so bring in your passions with your CV!
