GSL Education Lincolnshir e is currently looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Autism Practitioner for one of its
Scunthorpe -based SEN client schools.The school is looking for someone who has excellent child management capabilities.
Responsibilities may include as Autism Practitioner: - Collaborating with teachers, special education coordinators, and parents to develop and implement personalized individualized education plans for students with autism.
- Creating specific goals and objectives to address communication, social interaction, and behavior management.
- Conducting behavioral assessments and implementing behavior modification strategies.
- Organizing and facilitating social skills groups or individual sessions to improve interpersonal relationships and interactions.
- Being able to respond appropriately in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Requirements for the ole as Autism Practitioner:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Have an Enhanced Child-Only DBSon the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or special needs is highly preferable.
- Strong understanding of ASD and evidence-based interventions.
- Have great communication with both pupils and teachers.
