Specialist Services Network - Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Services - Band 8a Clinical Lead, Pathways Enhanced Resettlement Service (PERS), Forensic Community Services
Hours: 30 hours (0.8) per week*
Grade: Band 8a
Salary: £50,952 - £57,349 p.a
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join the Pathways Enhanced Resettlement Service (PERS) as a band 8a Clinical Lead. PERS forms part of the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway and is based at HMP Kirkham in Lancashire.
Offender Personality Disorder Services (OPDS) are part of Forensic Community Services within the Specialist Services Network in Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT). OPDS are delivered in partnership with His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and provide support to prison and probation teams.
The successful candidate will hold a strategic position as the Clinical Lead for PERS. They will have a key role in creating and maintaining a healthy psychosocial environment; ensuring that the service adheres to the theoretical principles of the PERS model, including group work, the management of group dynamics and supporting the risk management of men undertaking Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL).
The post holder will manage the development of a positive and therapeutic milieu within the prison environment, ensuring that the delivery of psychosocial aspects of the PERS is compliant with policy and delivery arrangements. The post holder will also be responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of a workforce development plan and training for prison colleagues both within the PERS and the wider establishment.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
