An exciting opportunity has arisen for a University Solicitor with a minimum of 3+PQE to join the Legal Services team to deliver expert legal advice and support to University wide-stakeholders.
The role will strengthen this friendly and busy legal team and provide high level specialist and pragmatic legal advice in the support and delivery of the University’s strategy. As a qualified and experienced solicitor, you will take the lead on and manage a complex and varied workload, needing to build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders (at all levels) across the wider University, other areas of professional services, and with our collaborative and commercial external partners. Your approach will be flexible and adaptable, and you will bring significant legal experience, knowledge, and skills across contracts and commercial, regulatory, compliance and disputes. Experience in international collaborative partnerships and Transnational Education is desirable as is some property or construction and employment law expertise.
