Job description
Blue Arrow is working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of automotive safety systems industry in Congleton CW12.
We are recruiting hardworking and reliable production operatives to join the on-site production team.
Our Client run a semi-automated facility in the automotive safety systems industry.
Previous experience working in production, with machinery, or with tools is desirable, but full training will be provided on-site. Our ideal candidate also has excellent time-keeping abilities and dedication to learning the new role.
Working as a production operative will have you undertaking the following tasks:
* Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of production machinery
* Manual handling of products, packaging, specification checks
* Reacting quickly and safely to any issues that may arise while monitoring operations of the equipment
* Constantly observing all equipment ensuring correct use
* Setting up of production equipment - prioritizing health and safety at all times.
This role offers a great hourly pay rate! The hourly rate for the full continental shift is £13.67 - earning you an annual salary of almost £30000! (Possibility of being upskilled based on client requirements to a Weaver role at £15.21 - if you are an experienced textile weaver, please get in touch!) Overtime rates apply for work outside your normal 3 on 3 off rotation. You will be paid weekly through Blue Arrow.
This employer runs a full 12 Hour Continental Shift rotation with the shifts listed below:
3 Days on: 06:00 - 18:00
3 Days off
3 Nights on: 18:00 - 06:00
3 Days off
If successful with your application, you must be flexible to work this shift pattern.
Due to the shift start and end times, you must have access to your own transport or live locally to Congleton. You must also be comfortable working 12 hour shifts.
