What you’ll be doing
The Greater Picture: At Nobia, we’re not just designing kitchens; we’re building connections. This role is integral to our journey. As a Maintenance Stores Person based with Darlington, you will report into our Maintenance Manager. In the role you will oversee the stores area, receipting, packing and dispatching equipment and spares.
You will liaise with suppliers sourcing critical spares for the site’s machinery and equipment and aid with the quoting process. Alongside raising purchase order numbers and receive goods into the company using SAP ensuring all paperwork is correct and goods received are in good order and are not damaged.
You’ll keep the stores area clean and tidy to ensure safe working practices and to allow the stores to function efficiently and comply with the safety legislation and carry out physical stock checks when required and assist in investigation of any discrepancies.

Your skillset for performance:
Having previous experience in a stores or logistics environment, you’ll have experience of using stores management software packages, preferably SHIRE.
Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail will help you succeed in the role.
You’ll be comfortable working independently, as well a part of the overall maintenance team.
