Job description
We are currently recruiting an Administrator to work within our Member Services Team, based at our office in Bedford, MK44 3JZ.
As the person who will be the first point of contact for our members, you will play a fundamental role in a team that strives for high quality and member satisfaction.
Copart members can bid on and buy vehicles in auctions across the UK and Ireland. From the registration of new Copart members to renewal of existing members and everything in between, the Member Services Team are responsible for all the needs of Copart members.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls from our members
- Administration, such as processing member applications, checking documents and ensuring systems are kept up to date
- Handle sensitive information in line with the data protection legislation
- Complete the new membership registration and renewal process
- Call potential members to encourage and help them complete their member registration
- Communicate with members via email and telephone
- Help our members with account queries, such as live auction queries, payments and complaints
- Deal with difficult conversations, on occasion
- Provide an unparalleled customer experience for our members
Essential attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills and to be able to professionally handle complaints
- A passion for helping others and solving problems
- A highly confident individual, able to manage incoming and outgoing calls
- Able to multitask and work toward achieving key performance indicators, as set by management
Desirable attributes:
- Microsoft Office skills - excel, word, outlook and teams
- Previous experience in an administration/sales role
- Previous experience of taking payments over the telephone
- Understanding of the need to protect sensitive information.
- Able to speak another language (Polish, Spanish, Greek or Turkish). This is not essential, but would be advantageous.
