We have the opportunity for a strong administrator to join our client as a project administrator. This is a fast paced opportunity, you may be looking to take a step into the projects world or an existing projects administration looking for a new challenge. This role is office based in the Shirley-Solihull area, working hours are 9-5:30pm Mon-Friday with a 30 minute break (40 hour working week). We will be looking at the opportunity as a temp-perm and permanent opportunity depending on candidate experience and requirements. Salary is £26,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- The Project Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure the effective, efficient and accurate administrative operations of programmes.
- The Project Administrator will work as part of a small team and will need to have a flexible and pro-active approach.
- The post holder will at times be required to work under considerable pressure. A willingness and ability to use your own initiative will be extremely important.
- Project Administration - setting up projects on the internal system, typing up snagging reports and closedown procedures.
- General Administration -Reception/telephone; word processing; photocopying; processing travel and casual claims; ordering supplies; maintaining databases and spreadsheets; progress reports; minute taking, post, filing and general office functions.
- Financial Administration -raising purchase orders, processing & filing supplier quotations, delivery notes; investigating and collating information on costs; collating cost information; maintaining database information associated with projects; and other financial duties.
- To assist the Project Manager and Senior Project Administrator in the development and maintenance of programme files.
- To collate and disseminate records as required.
- Provide appropriate secretariat support at meetings
- Assist in the marketing and promotion of the company to potential clients
- To monitor timesheets and other evidence required.
- To support in the sustainability of the project as required.
