Job Description

The Glasgow City Region Intelligence Hub provides the evidence base to tackle the biggest economic challenges facing the Region. It sets strategy, shapes policy and helps make the case for investment across the Region. The demand for the services of the Hub continues to grow and the team are looking for a dynamic, intellectually curious principal economist who is determined to influence the economic prosperity of the Region. Whether it is analysing the local impacts of the cost of living crisis or utilising the latest quantitative techniques to understand the Region’s economic clusters, the Hub is at the forefront of providing solutions to the biggest economic challenges facing the Region. The right candidate will be given the opportunity work with a wide range of experts (internal and external) to understand how the Region can tackle its varied challenges and lead on some of its most high profile economic development programmes.
