Your Duties:
As a Junior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation of accounts and tax returns for both limited and unincorporated clients.
- Assisting senior team members with various tasks to support clients directly.
- Collaborating with team members on set tasks to build knowledge and overcome challenges.
- Direct interaction with clients, providing advice and sharing information.
- Learning to use cloud-based accounts software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero) and accounts production software.
Ideal Candidate: - Previous experience in an accountancy practice or office-based role (12 months or more).
- Familiarity with cloud accountancy software, particularly Quickbooks and Xero.
- Experience in a client-facing role with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in IT, numeracy, and literacy.
