Support Worker - Relief

Job description

Due to the travelling between locations it is essential that you have a full UK drivers licence and have your own vehicle.

Relief Contracts available - Various shifts

Evening shifts between the hours of 4pm - 8pm

Weekends shifts Saturday's or Sundays between the hours of 9am - 8pm

As a Relief worker, your basic pay rate is £11.08 and your annual leave is accrued for each hour that you work and paid to you on a monthly basis, which bring each hour you work to £12.41.

As a Support Worker in Outreach you will be assisting people to access Day Centres and to enable them to achieve their dreams, ambitions and to live happy and engaged lives. There are lots of activity based support and will appeal to people who enjoy the outdoors, walking, shopping, eating out, bowling, cinema and socialising. The people we support are very much involved and really enjoy being part of a local football league. In addition to all of these fun activities, you will also be supporting people in developing their daily living skills, to maximise their independence.
