Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Physiotherapist with prior clinical experience working with adults to join our NHS client’s community service in Leeds, West Yorkshire. As a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to adults within the community setting. This role is available to start as soon as possible, offering part-time hours for a period of 6 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for adult patients.
- Providing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote mobility, function, and independence.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
- Empowering patients through education and self-management strategies to optimize long-term outcomes.
- Monitoring progress, reassessing treatment plans, and making adjustments as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Previous clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist in a community setting, preferably with adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
