SEN Teaching assistant - Abergavenny

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team working across schools in Abergavenny .

We are currently working with local schools who are seeking teaching Assistant to start working ASAP with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate.

We are seeking dedicated and professional SEN teaching assistants to join the Prospero team. The ideal candidate will have proficient experience working within SEN / School settings. Ideally with a range of experience of various different additional learning needs, the successful candidate with play a crucial role supporting students learning, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students.

CONTRACT DETAILS
* Location - Abergavenny
* Position - Teaching Assistant
* Type of work - temporary
* Contract or position start date - ASAP
* Duration / Likely Duration - 6 Months - On going
* Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
* Full time/part time - Full time - 5 days a week
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £84
* Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience working within an education setting

* ALN experience desirable
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist)

*Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
