We are looking for compassionate and committed Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants in Reepham, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in her home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a gentleman in his 30’s who lives with his family in Reepham, he requires support throughout the day on a 2:1 basis.
He loves to be very energetic so our ideal team will be active, vigilant and be able to act fast to always ensure his safety.
At home he requires close supervision and enjoys watching his favourite TV programmes, listening to music, being outside and interacting with his family and care team.
Your role will be to support and encourage him to live as independently as possible. You will support with his daily tasks, including personal care, washing, and dressing, preparing meals, and assisting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests.
It is important to understand his methods of communication and identify his wants and needs as he is non-verbal and communicates using body language and gestures. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role to avoid our service user becoming anxious or upset.
