Job description
Morgan McKinley have partnered with a very exciting business that services the digital media space. The business operations spread across the globe, and they are in the market for a well-rounded finance professional to lead the finance team and support the company's business expansion and growth trajectory.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance team offering guidance and coaching whilst fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration across internal and external teams.
- Supervise the AP/AR processes.
- Producing monthly management accounts including consolidated P&L's, updated projections, and revenue analysis
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Integration of US accounting/ invoicing responsibilities
- Prepare cash forecasts and contribute to medium- and long-term financial modelling and business planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and achievable forecast with periodic reports to budget holders.
- Presentation of financial overviews to the board
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions, including decisions on raising equity and/or debt.
- Preparation of financial accounts and management of the audit process.
- Oversee the Company's legal and compliance matters (UK, US, SG and AU).
- Develop and maintain systems and procedures to ensure that the organisation complies with good practice, financial regulations, and audit recommendations.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- 3+ years in an FC or Head of Finance in an SME
- Experience working with US, Singapore and/or Australian accounts.
- Proven ability to analyse and improve finance processes.
- Technically astute
- Advanced Excel
