Job description
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are seeking Care Assistants to provide care and support to a Service User with Learning Disabilities in their home. Service User is male with acquired complex conditions, he requires 1:1 support at home and whilst out in the community to ensure that he is supported in all aspects of his life. The successful applicant would support our Service User with all aspects of personal care, promote his independence and achieve all his aspirations & goals, he enjoys several outdoor activities including horse riding, trampolining & Boccia. Our Service User needs a staff team who can communicate with him effectively, this will enable him to feel safe and enhance his communication and interaction with Carers. Service User needs staff to get to know him, build up a relationship with him and help him to feel comfortable to communicate his needs effectively.
We are recruiting individuals with Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to make a real difference in someone's life are all key to being successful in this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for care professionals with an interest in specific complex conditions who want to develop their skills and knowledge whilst gaining experience.

Hourly Rate: £11.50 - per hour (Days Only) & sleeping nights £9.50
Location: Leeds
Shift Patterns: Days, and sleeping nights
Contract: Full-time or Part Time
Speciality: Complex Care
Requirements:
Theory and practical training will be provided to ensure you have the correct skills to support this individual. This will allow you to learn new skills and develop your career as a Complex Care Health Care Assistant.
