Job description
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our Music Department to teach across KS3 and KS4 from September 2024. Working as part of our successful Performance Faculty, you will join a well-resourced Music Department with two main teaching rooms, a full set of practice rooms and the use of a Mac Suite using the latest DAW software. This post is offered on a full-time basis, however part-time will also be considered.
Music is a popular subject with a history of excellent outcomes at KS4 and our school community enjoys and values music.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across all age and ability ranges. You will be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise the achievement of all students and be keen to play a full part in the life of the school. As part of the Performance Faculty, you will develop and run weekly extra-curricular activities students.
Applications from ECTs are welcome as the school has a strong ECT training and support programme.
