Management Accountant - part time (22.5 hours per week)

Working for an innovative, and interesting business near Alderley Edge, we're recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team for 3 days per week (2 days in the office and 1 day from home).

You'll be working with the head of Finance there, and mentoring a Finance Assistant. Duties are varied but include;

• Oversee financial management and reporting for the business
  
• Production of monthly-management accounts
  
• Payroll
  
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  
• Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor payments and reconciliations
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
  

Requirements

Experience required

• Ideally part, or qualified Accountant
  
• Experience of working in a management accountant role
  
• Xero experience or similar
  
• Excellent excel abilities
  
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder skills
  

Hours are 22.5 per week. 2 days in the office (1 definitely a Wednesday) and 1 day from home. Excellent holiday allowance and benefits - free parking.
