Job description
The job role is broad, but can be briefly summarised into the following areas: Strategic management & planning, identifying opportunities for income generation, managing external contracts. Financial management using Xero, pensions, budget forecasts, cash flow, liaising with accountants, insurances, practice bank account management supported by finance officer and partnership. Recruitment and HR (clinical and admin), appraisals, absence management, succession planning. Managing staff recruitment and retention. Manage patient services, overview of clinic provision, dealing with patients including complaints. Health and Safety management. Data governance compliance. Communication internally and externally building relationships with partners locally, regionally and ensuring readiness for CQC. Representing the practice externally to include working with PCN, Federation, Integrated Neighbourhood teams and the ICB etc Monitoring and optimising the achievement of clinical targets such as QoF, IIF and such local and national enhanced services.
