Job Description
- Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the manufacturing unit.
- Provide financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the unit.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Partner with management in the decision-making process by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives within the manufacturing unit.
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
- Work with the team to develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Unit Controller should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience in a similar role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to work well within a team and lead effectively.
