Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Family PA to help care for a family of five, including three children, two girls aged 7 and 11 and their brother aged 9. This professional and relaxed family live in a beautiful house, with a large garden, in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The family are active, enjoying being outside and taking part in sports.

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 19:00 (35 hours). There will also be opportunities for additional ad hoc hours for babysitting and potential overnight stays, to be mutually agreed, and paid as overtime.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver to help with school runs and activities. There is a duty car available for you to use.

Once the children are back from school, you will oversee any homework or reading and ensure they have everything they need for the following day – uniform, sports kits, etc.

In addition to general childcare responsibilities when they are home, this role includes family PA duties, such as family laundry, organising the children’s clothes and toys, maintaining tidiness in the kitchen, children’s bedrooms and playroom, and ensuring all rooms used are tidy by the end of the day. Although the family has a weekly cleaner, any additional tasks to keep the home running smoothly would be appreciated, such as emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming when necessary and running errands (picking up groceries, post office, dry cleaners, etc). You will oversee all school admin, making sure that the children have everything they require.

You will be responsible for providing the children with healthy and nutritious meals each day.

This family also includes two friendly dogs, so a pet lover is essential.
