About the Opportunity
Jacobs are recruiting for experienced Project Engineers to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our key client EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.
This is a key role within our project and engineering portfolio which is spread across our UK network at all UK sites and stations. You will be supported and mentored by experienced project engineering management professionals within Jacobs and given the training and opportunities you need to develop and expand your project engineering management and leadership skills with larger and more complex projects.
You will be part of a large client-led team primarily based at EDFs Torness Power Station and will be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager and/or Construction Manager. You'll be supporting projects either on location or potentially at other station locations in the fleet so there will be travel required as part of this role. Additionally we are keen to hear from you if you are able to work from Heysham, Hartlepool or Gloucester as main locations. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible, however the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station. Key responsibilities will be:
