Industrial Cleaner
Location: Knowsley Industrial estate, L33 7AA
Salary: £11.25 p/h and £11.44 p/h from April
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 09.00-18.00, 30min unpaid break
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Start date: ASAP
Sector: Industrial An industrial cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organisation within a warehouse environment while communicating effectively with other members of the facility.
The following are job responsibilities: - To clean and maintain warehouse, which will include sweeping, mopping, litter picking, pickface clearing, repack, bailing and other related tasks.
- To operate cleaning equipment such as floor sweepers and power washers to remove dirt and debris from floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- To report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- To communicate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other members of the facility to ensure that the cleaning is done effectively and efficiently.
The following are requirements: - Previous experience in a similar environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Can do attitude.
Industrial cleaning can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift equipment.
