Sheridan Maine are thrilled to partner with our successful client based in Southampton, as they seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Credit Controller. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become an integral part of a dynamic team, responsible for managing extensive customer accounts.
Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
- Conduct comprehensive credit checks for both new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Proactively pursue overdue invoices via various communication channels to ensure a prompt resolution.
- Manage the processing and reconciliation of invoices efficiently.
- Prepare statements, client status reports, and all relevant information as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments and provide administrative support to the team.
To be considered for the role of Credit Controller, you should have the following competencies:- A passion for Credit Control and a drive to excel in this field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Qualifications or training in bookkeeping or accounts, and experience of Sage 50 Accounts are desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
