Estimator - High-End Commercial and Residential Projects

The Estimator's Role
As an essential member of their team, the successful Estimator will play a critical role in securing new projects and accurately pricing them, ensuring the company maintains its competitive edge and upholds high standards. Working in close collaboration with project management teams, you'll ensure all financial estimates align with strategic objectives and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present detailed cost estimates for high-end commercial and residential projects, including refurbishments, covering all financial aspects comprehensively.
- Work alongside project managers, architects, and contractors to gather all necessary information for precise pricing.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness, monitor actual costs as compared to bids, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, costs, materials, and construction methodologies.
The Estimator:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the high-end commercial and residential realms, backed by a portfolio of successful projects.
- Expertise in refurbishment projects, with an acute attention to detail and understanding of luxury specifications.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, capable of generating detailed and accurate financial reports.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities, able to effectively engage with clients, contractors, and team members.
- A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
