Job description

We are hoping to publish a report on issues being faced by people living with thalassaemia major, an inherited and severe blood disorder.  this would be done by ,collating and recording the experiences throughout the UK. 

What will you be doing?

• Conducting research on various topics related to the charity's work
• Gathering information, statistics, and data to support reports and written content
• Writing reports, articles, blog posts, and other materials to promote the charity's mission and impact
• Collaborating with staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries to gather firsthand information and stories
• Editing and proofreading written materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Must have minimum 3 years experience 

What are we looking for?

The volunteer should have 3 years minimum experience in writing and research. The ability to share research findings effectively is essential for the appropriate dissemination of work. 

What difference will you make?

This is desperately needed as there is a huge discrepancy in treatment based on location.  Once completed it is hoped that the report or paper can be used to highlight the issues and support our lobbying for fair and equal service throughout the UK. It is also important to mention that this condition affects a wide section of  ethnic minority communities and will make a huge difference to many.
