Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and driving the technical aspects of our projects, using your expertise in software development to deliver high quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
The role involves day-to-day responsibility for:
Software Engineering & Quality
Design, code, test and deploy high quality software applications that fulfil agreed requirements
Ensure coding standards and quality adherence
Ensure solutions conform to best practices for code quality, architecture, observability and security
Support peer reviews and provide constructive feedback
Technical Leadership
Support and mentor team members by providing guidance, pair programming and conducting code reviews
Contribute to design and architectural decisions, providing feedback leading to better solutions
Work with project teams to plan, estimate and deliver appropriate solutions
Communicate clearly with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Support & Documentation
Ensure software defects are rectified and underlying faults addressed
Create and maintain technical documentation, including standards, implementation details, runbooks and support guides
Qualifications & Skills
4+ years in software engineering with a strong background in delivering complex software solutions
Proficient in software development using technologies and languages such as TypeScript, Node.js and React.js
Experience working across all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in cross-functional delivery team
Experience testing software at all levels of the testing pyramid
Experience designing and developing APIs, Event Driven Architectures and integrating with different systems e.g. CRM, SaaS and other 3rd party systems
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
Experience working with iPaaS solutions such as Mulesoft, Informatica or similar is desirable
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
