Job description

We are seeking to recruit a passionate full-time live-in housekeeper carer who has a great passion for using their housekeeping expertise to maintain a home to a high standard of cleanliness whilst taking care of an elderly loved one in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm including breaks; Saturday from 7 am to 9 am

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. They are looking for someone with a full driving license. The housekeeper carer is needed in mid-January.
