Senior Accountant

Are you an experienced Accounts professional seeking a new and exciting role to join a rapidly growing Accountancy firm? 

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Senior Accountant role which will develop into a Practice Manager position. You will benefit from guidance from the current Practice Manager to build your skills as a Senior Accountant to take on this role. 

Our client specialises in accounting services and tax advice for SME's. They are currently a team of 6, and have a vision to be the biggest independent Accountancy Practice across East Anglia, with steps already in place for a second office in a new location. 

This Senior Accountant role is offering a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000, ideally looking for someone studying ACA/ACCA or fully qualified. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensuring client deadlines for the practice are met
• Line management of other employees within the practice
• Senior point of contact for clients
• Networking with prospective clients
• Completion of company accounts and reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff
• Offer tailored solutions to clients to support their growth and success
• Completion of tax returns for clients
• Ensure the practice is adhering to company's policies and procedures
• Tracking practice KPI’s against targets

If you have experience in using QuickBooks or Xero this will be an added bonus!

Working within a small team as a Senior Accountant, you will benefit from being able to progress your career at a swift pace. Following a successful period of time, you will have the opportunity to become the Practice Manager of the Ipswich office, where you will be able to continue to build the practice and increase its profitability.
