Finance Project Lead - Sox implementation

Job description
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Project Lead - SOX plays a pivotal role in the organisation.
This role is being offer on an 18m FTC basis with the ability to work from any of the organisations sites across the UK. The role is hybrid in nature, however there will be a requirement to travel to Cardiff or London on a weekly basis.
The role will;
- Be responsible for the implementation of the internal control framework (SOX) which will involve a wide-scale review of procedures and policies and performing analyses to highlight gaps.
- You will support to a range of senior stakeholders, effective control of financial processes and deliver high quality and consistent operational excellence.
- A key aspect of this role is stakeholder engagement with senior management teams across the oprganisation to improve the perception of controls as value-add tools to the wider business.
- You will lead a small team on the project.
- You will need to be up-to-date with developments to UK Corporate Governance code, and be capable of taking action to align controls approach with FRC guidance.
- You will be responsible for identifying companywide control issues and initiate plans to mitigate any risks in collaboration with Senior Management and will also deputise for relevant Finance Director as required
