About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our expanding Derby and Derbyshire Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).  Designed to ensure CYP access the right help, at the right time, in the right setting. The MHST teams will remove duplication and avoid CYP/families being ‘bounced’ in-between services.

Compass have a successful track record in early intervention health and wellbeing services for children and young people. We use a wide range of creative and dynamic methods of engagement, including digital interventions, across community and educational settings.

About You

You will have at least 1 years’ post qualification experience working therapeutically within a CYP mental health setting. In the role of Trainee Supervising Practitioner, you would be delivering training, evidenced based interventions and consultation to children, young people, families and educational staff.

You will also be supported by the service to learn and develop new skills in delivering CBT informed supervision. Once you have reached the required minimum competencies defined by HEE you will be required to undertake a PG Certificate in Clinical Supervision. On acceptance on to the training programme the post holder will progress to Band F which currently attracts a salary range of £35,665 - £43,603

You will also be willing to undertake further training as required by the service.
