Job description
Temp to Perm. Our Client is seeking an experienced Reach Truck D2 Fork Lift Operator to join their distribution centre in Peterborough, on a 4 on 4 off basis, hours 7am to 7pm. Online application process so you can register from home.
Responsibilities:
- Moving pallets good into racking
- Picking from the truck, all goods palatalised
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials
- Using a scanners
- Replenishment
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Assist in the general maintenance of the warehouse.
Hourly Pay
- 4 on 4 off £13.50 per hour. Overtime and Weekend availability
Requirements:
- You MUST possess a current Reach license with D2 classification (lift over 8 metres)
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
