JOB ROLEA. Manage services within designated scope of authority3.1 Agree service requirements with Ward Manager /Matron.3.2 Identify, plan and amend service requirements in consultation withrelevant stakeholders.3.3 Maintain a healthy, safe and productive working environment in linewith legal, organisational and Nursing & Midwifery Councilrequirements.3.4 Monitor the quality of nursing services and the products used.3.5 Ensure that all policy and procedure relating to infection prevention andcontrol is implemented.A5. Manage change in work methods and practice that will improve thestandards of care for patients5.1 Identify opportunities for improvements in nursing practice ashighlighted through evidence and research based practice.5.2 Agree the introduction of change.5.3 Plan the implementation of changes in work methods and practice.5.4 Evaluate the impact of changes on standards of patient care.B. Deal with poor performance in the team16.1 Support team members who have problems affecting theirclinical/professional performance.16.2 Highlight any issues/problems to the Ward Manager and ClinicalMatron to ensure appropriate action is carried out.
