About the Role:

This role is responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting of the trade investment spends Long Term Discounts, Account Development Fund and Promotional Discounts across all routes to market.

 

The role holder will also be responsible for, Period-end activities and financial reporting, including working with Finance/Non Finance Managers and the Sales Teams, business Partnering with the Channel Finance and Customer Management Teams/Sales Operations to help with managing their investment spend & tight balance sheet management with regular in-depth reviews with customer management team.

 

You will also assist with external audits for Long Term Discounts, Account Development Fund and Promotional Discounts & own the Pepsi Bottling Incentive process by managing the P&L and balance sheet by customer along with timely invoicing to PepsiCo.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the preparation of robust and timely period end accounts for Promotional Discounts, Account Development Fund and Long Term Discounts in GB in line with the group timetable 
  2. Prepare SAP v SAC reconciliations
  3. Create periodic reports, and ensure period end reconciliations are prepared for all investment spend balance sheet accounts, fully supported with adequate documentation and narrative
  4. Managing the error logs for interfacing Kantar to SAP.
  5. Run and manage the Financial Account Review process for each sector in GB.
  6. Prepare and provide all necessary material for the external audit in relation to investment spend GB

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Good understanding of financial & accounting principles
  2. Good Excel skills – Minimum knowledge SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS and PIVOT tables
  3. Good communicator – able to clearly articulate finance concepts to non-finance colleagues
  4. Systems: MS Office, SAC, Kantar, SAP R3
  5. Background in FMCG preferable – retailer or manufacturer

 

Qualifications:

  1. Part Qualified & actively studying (other financial qualifications will also be considered)
