Job description

We are looking for a magazine specialist to sell advertising throughout Cardiff, Newport & Cwmbran in our popular and vibrant magazineThe Voice. The Voice is thelongest-running and most well-established glossy publication in the area, the content focusses on fashion, beauty, interiors, family, food, and entertainment – blending national interest with local stories, issues, and information. From high-profile celebrities to restaurant reviews, and great family days out, Voice has become the essential guide to Welsh life and living.

With a reach of 31,000 readers every month since its birth in 2003 advertising with Voice offers local businesses a different audience and a strong platform to promote their brands, products and events.The successful candidate will love the magazines' focus and content and will enjoy meeting customers in person throughout the area promoting the magazine and the advertising opportunities it offers mostly in print but also beneficial digital options.

With the opportunity to win new business as well as managing current advertisers, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a target-focused environment and enjoys the buzz of sales and success. The average yearly bonus across the group is £8000- £10,000, however, the scheme is uncapped so the sky’s the limit with earning potential.

We offer a brilliant onboarding and training program, longevity and progression ina creative and fast-paced working environment. It is essential you drive and have your own vehicle to use. Your base will be in our Newport office withwhich is located right next to the train station.
