Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an established Ipswich based business on a permanent basis.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be providing information to support decision making for the senior management team and to meet all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full analysis for the profit and loss, sales margins, and balance sheet maintenance
- Job costing analysis
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Calculation of monthly stock movement
- Process month end accruals/ prepayments/ depreciation of fixed assets and to ensure the accuracy of fixed assets register
- Preparation of yearly audit for the group
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and R & D reporting
Key skills:
- Part-Qualified or Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Qualified by experience candidate will also be considered.
- Commercially minded
- Strong Systems, IT and Microsoft office capabilities
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines.
- Relevant experience working in a similar role and finance department
